Cheerleading Company/CC Dancewear is looking for someone to join our customer service team in Dallas, Texas.

Are you a person who is great at being a servant leader as well as providing customers with problem solving resolutions?

If you are an energetic and positive team player who communicates effectively and understands the concept of customer relations and satisfaction, this could be the position for you!

As a Customer Service Specialist, you must have excellent verbal and written skills, as well as, be a critical thinker and be empathetic to customers.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Field incoming calls and e-mails regarding orders, products and/or services.
  • Assist customers with general ordering needs, updates and/or questions.
  • Maintain customer relationships by navigating challenges and helping with all customer needs.
  • Listening to customer’s concerns and handling those concerns appropriately.
  • Giving detailed explanations of services and/or products.
  • Possess a complete understanding of pricing and estimate models.
  • Handle overflow sales calls with knowledge and understanding.
  • Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with teachers, coaches, gym owners and other important decision makers.
  • Become familiar with school district purchasing practices.
  • Focus on being present in your work to notice small details and produce high-quality results.
  • Reviewing customer accounts and transactions while resolving issues.
  • Effectively communicating with customers through email, chat, or company software
  • Receiving orders and processing payments.
  • Exemplify patience, empathy, and professionalism.
  • The ability to interact and cooperate with the appropriate company employees.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.

Critical Skills Needed:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve in the moment.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
  • Ability to be patient, show empathy and always maintain professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple customers concurrently and stay organized.
  • Ability to de-escalate heightened customer situations.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Cheerleading and/or dance experience in performance or coaching a plus.
